Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Build Ledger’s website, products, systems, downloads, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide when booking calls, submitting forms, or making purchases.

3. Digital Products & License

All Build Ledger systems, templates, PDFs, spreadsheets, videos, and downloads are licensed—not sold—for your individual business use (one business entity). Unless expressly permitted by us in writing, you may not:

• Share, post publicly, resell, sublicense, or redistribute our content
• Remove proprietary notices or claim ownership
• Use the content to build competing products or training

We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

Consulting Services: Consulting sessions, strategy calls, and implementation support are provided as services and are non-transferable. Call recordings are provided for your personal business reference only and may not be shared, distributed, or used for training others.

4. Payments, Pricing & Taxes

Payments are processed by third parties such as Gumroad and Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the payment processor to charge the payment method you provide. Prices may change at any time. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or similar governmental assessments.

5. Delivery

Upon successful purchase, you’ll receive access or a download link via email from our payment provider. If you cannot locate the email, check spam/junk folders. For assistance, contact support@buildledger.com with your purchase email.

6. Refunds

Due to the digital nature of our products, sales for individual systems are final. If you're unsure which system fits, email info@buildledger.com before purchasing.

Bundle Guarantee: Our Core Protection Bundle and Complete Business Transformation Bundle include a 90‑day practical guarantee. Implement the included systems in good faith for 90 days; if you do not see measurable improvement in client quality, project profitability, operational efficiency, or financial control, contact support@buildledger.com within 90 days for a refund. We may request reasonable proof of implementation steps (e.g., use of templates, planners, or checklists). This guarantee does not apply to individual systems.

Consulting & Implementation Calls: Consulting and implementation calls are non-refundable once the session has been delivered. If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 24 hours in advance.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and materials are owned by Build Ledger or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

8. Acceptable Use

• No unlawful, infringing, or deceptive activity
• No attempts to bypass security or access non‑public areas
• No interference with the operation of the Services
• No automated scraping or harvesting except as permitted by applicable law

9. Third‑Party Services

We use third‑party providers (e.g., Gumroad, Stripe, Kit, Skool, Google Analytics, Google Calendar, Squarespace). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third‑party services.

9a. Community Participation (Skool)

Participation in the Build Ledger community (hosted on Skool) is subject to Skool's terms of service and our community guidelines. We reserve the right to remove members who violate community standards.

10. Disclaimers

Our content is educational and based on real‑world experience. We do not provide legal, accounting, licensing, or compliance advice. Always consult qualified professionals for your jurisdiction. The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Build Ledger will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claims relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the product at issue during the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Build Ledger and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

13. DMCA / IP Complaints

If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact info@buildledger.com with: (1) your contact details, (2) description of the copyrighted work, (3) the URL/location of the allegedly infringing material, (4) a statement of good‑faith belief, and (5) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized agent.

14. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Franklin County, Pennsylvania.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
